Blaquestar is a name he created for himself after being noted as the darkest-skinned in his sibling group. It combines his first two given names with both of his parents’ monograms, in light of his recent ancestry studies. His parents' determination and grit have inspired him to make something out of nothing, from Nashville, TN, to Xenia, OH, where they raised him and his six siblings. Rooted in music, fashion, education, dance, theatre, gospel, & Afro glam rock influences. Blaquestar delivers soulful experiences through handmade accessories, healing music, & immersive storytelling.
